Function

1) Function: IBOA is widely used as active monomer material to improve the adhesion,

hardness, wear resistance/abrasion performance, the surface glossness/ the degree of surface

finish, the temperature of glass transition, water resisting property and compatibility with other

materials. At the same time, it can lower the viscosity, surface tension and chroma of the basic

resins.

2) At present, IBOA is mainly used in UV coating and EB coating, as a active

diluent/ thinner for some kinds of resins, printingink, paint, adhesive and coating agent.

 

Application

IBOA used as diluent/ thinner to manufacture high-quality acrylicacidresin, triethylene glycol

dimethacrylate, polyurethane resin, glycerophthalic resinsand modified epoxy resin and so on.

At the same time, it can lower the viscosity, surface tension and chroma of the basic resins and

improve the adhesion, hardness, wear resistance/abrasion performance, the surface

glossiness/ the degree of surface finish, the temperature of glass transition, water resisting

property and compatibility with other materials.

IBOA as active diluent used in UV coatings and printing ink can effectively lower the viscosity

of the coating (printing ink ), and improve the performance of constructing, improve theflow

leveling property.

IBOA used as active diluent/ thinner for finishing coating, which are used in electron accessories,instrument, CD, floor, metal surface finishing, mobile phone shell surface finish, auto lamp light surface finish and Nail Enamel to improve the adhesion, hardness, wear resistance/abrasion performance, the surface glossiness/ the degree of surface finish.

IBOA used in the optical fiber coating to improve the hardness,drawing coefficient and waterproof performance.

IBOA used as active diluent/ thinner in coating for the floor and furniture to lower the viscosity,

improve the adhesion, hardness, wear resistance/abrasion performance and scratch resistant performance, pale resistant and coating easy-gone resistance performance.

IBOA used as active diluent/ thinner in coating for CD surface to improve the adhesion, hardness, scratch resistant performance and the surface glossiness.

IBOA used in thermoplastic acrylic resin with high Tg(glass-transition temperature), which

is used to manufacture the soft plastic thin film coating, such as PET,PE,PP and PE,PP,PC,

to improve the hardness, alcohol resistance performance, wet resistance and weathering

resistance performance.

IBOA used in contact lenses, as the oligomer with higher refractive index could make the

product transparent.

IBOA used in UV adhesive, such as UV structural glue, film glue, pressure-sensitive adhesive,

crystal and glass crafts glue and acrylic glue and EB glue.
